Terms of use
Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between you and Anthromica (“we”). Write to us at support@anthromica.com.
What Anthromica is, and is not
Anthromica is an educational and training tool built on a complete virtual human body. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice or a substitute for clinical examination, diagnosis or a qualified clinician's judgement. The AI tutor can be wrong; check what it says against the reading pane and your course texts.
Your account
Using Anthromica needs a free account; a guest in a live session needs only a name. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
Plans and payment
Every account can use the free plan, with no card: everything, up to a limit. Paid plans and their prices are on the pricing page. A paid plan renews until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refunded; see refunds and cancelling.
There are two paid plans. Student is for one person’s own study: it may not be used to teach or in professional work. Pro is for teachers, schools and clinicians, and allows professional and teaching use, including hosting live sessions and showing your own logo and name. A Pro account is used by one person; the people who join its live sessions follow along without needing a plan of their own.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (creem.io), which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes the payment, handles tax and sends your receipts and invoices, under its terms. For anything about a payment, write to us at support@anthromica.com.
Using the service
Your subscription is for the Anthromica service: the app, its tools, quizzes, tutor and live sessions. You may use it and your captures for your own study; on Pro, also for teaching and in your professional work. You may not scrape the service, get around its limits or resell access to it.
The anatomy and its credits
The 3D body is Z-Anatomy, the libre 3D atlas of anatomy (z-anatomy.com), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0, which is itself made from BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science (BodyParts3D). The descriptions in the reading pane are encyclopaedia text carried in Z-Anatomy, from Wikipedia, under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike.
The model as we show it, including our changes to it, is shared under the same licence. Nothing in these terms limits what that licence lets you do with the model itself; these terms cover the Anthromica service around it.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, including the tutor's daily allowance.
Accuracy
We work to make the anatomy correct. Errors are still possible; if you find one, tell us at support@anthromica.com.
Liability
Anthromica is a study and teaching aid. It is not a substitute for clinical judgement, hands-on training or supervision, and nothing in it is a diagnosis or a treatment plan. You use it at your own risk.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity, and our total liability to you for anything arising from Anthromica is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms; we will say so on the site before a change that matters takes effect. You can stop using Anthromica and close your account at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without taking away the consumer protections of the country you live in.
