Who we are
This notice explains how Anthromica handles your information on this site and in the app. For anything on this page, write to support@anthromica.com.
The short version
- Anthromica needs a free account; joining a live session as a guest needs only a name.
- There is no advertising. We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to see how the site is used. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they run only if you accept them.
- We do not sell or rent your data.
What stays in your browser
Without an account, your notes, quiz progress, theme and layout choices are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. Anthromica also caches the 3D body in your browser so it opens faster next time.
What we keep if you make an account
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address, or your Google account's email and name | To sign you in |
| Notes, saved views, quiz answers and progress | So they follow you between devices |
| Your plan, your daily use and a reference to your payment customer | To give you the features your plan includes |
| A count of your tutor questions each day | To apply the free plan's daily allowance |
The AI tutor and quizzes
When you ask the tutor a question or start an AI-written quiz, your question and the name of the structure you have selected are sent to Google's Gemini service to write the answer. Do not put personal or patient information in a question.
Who handles your data for us
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site and the app |
| Supabase | Accounts, your synced notes and views, and the model files |
| Google (Gemini) | Writes the tutor's answers and AI quizzes |
| Google sign-in | Only if you choose to sign in with Google |
| Creem (our reseller) | Payments: it sells the subscription as our reseller and handles tax; we never see your card number |
| Microsoft Clarity | How pages are used: clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays |
| Google Analytics | Visits and the pages viewed, with IP addresses anonymised |
Cookies
We set the cookies the service needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. None are used for advertising.
On your first visit we also note, in one cookie of our own, the site that sent you (its name only), the page you arrived on and any campaign tags in the link. If you create an account, we keep that with your account, together with the country your connection comes from, so we know how people find Anthromica. It is never shared.
Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand how the site and the app are used: which pages people visit, where they click and scroll, and where they get stuck. Clarity can record anonymised replays of a visit; it masks what you type. Both set their own cookies, and neither is used for advertising. If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, neither loads until you accept, and Cookie settings at the foot of any page changes your choice, which is kept in your browser. Elsewhere they load on every visit.
Anthromica itself also records a few product events, kept in our own database: that an account was created, the body opened, a layer peeled, a structure clicked, a drill started or finished, the plans page or an upgrade prompt seen, a payment made, and a shared link made or opened. Each is tied to your account, or to a random identifier in your browser before you sign in. They carry no notes, answers or anything you type, and we use them only to learn which parts of Anthromica help students.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of your asking us to close it, except what we must keep for tax and accounting.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@anthromica.com. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Anthromica is made for students and professionals in medicine and the health sciences and is not directed at children under 16.
